The Atelier Mice


In the quiet hours, when the last candle sighs into a curl of smoke, four little mice awaken beneath the old pine workbench in the Bloom & Gilded Atelier.

They are the unseen helpers of our winter season: keepers of light, ribbon, and cheer.

 Each day, while the house sleeps, the Atelier Mice scurry into the candle room. They curl themselves into empty wax boxes, nibble stray lavender stems and fuss over the placement of silk bows. They know the rhythm of the seasons as well as we do — and they arrive every year when the evenings draw in and the scent of fir branches fills the air.

They don’t ask for much, a crumb of shortbread, a warm patch by the stove, a twirl of ribbon to play with. But they offer plenty: a little magic, a lot of mischief, and a reminder that Christmas is best when it’s crafted with care.

They’ll appear across our winter collection and Instagram stories — lending their tiny paws and enormous hearts to our Christmas magic.

At Bloom & Gilded, we take care to craft scent and story, rooted in nature and seasonal rhythm. Every blend is rooted in the garden. A memory pressed into petals and a moment captured through scent. We believe fragrance is more than aroma, it’s a vessel for feeling, a quiet homecoming. From my garden to your home through scent ✨

Our artisanal wax melts and candles are hand-poured with purpose, blending indulgence with integrity and care. We are always thoughtful about the materials we use. From biodegradable sustainable soy and rapeseed waxes, ethically sourced fragrance and essential oils and plastic and paraffin free wicks. Our products are always free from paraben and phthalates, vegan and cruelty free. We have worked hard to thoughtfully package our products too! FSC kraft boxes, glassine bags and vessels too good to throw away. We are working to bring you refills to add to our candle offering soon.
